Allowing CheckView Cookie on Cookie -Script.com

CheckView’s automated test flows rely on a small required cookie that confirms a test is running and allows CAPTCHA bypass along with other essential test functions. If your CookieScript configuration is set to block unknown or third-party cookies, this will prevent CheckView from setting its cookie on initial page load. Since our bot cannot accept the banner before the cookie is placed, the test is blocked from functioning correctly.

In this case, the CookieScript banner is stopping all third-party or unrecognized cookies until user consent is provided. Because CheckView is only active during automated testing, its cookie is classified as “unknown” and is therefore blocked, interrupting the test submission process.

To correct this, add the CheckView cookie ‘cv_running’ to the Strictly Necessary / Allowed Cookies section within your CookieScript settings. This ensures the cookie is always permitted and that testing flows run normally:

Additional guidance for adding necessary cookies is available  on the CookieScript website.
