Enable WP REST API within PatchStack

When using CheckView to test and monitor your WordPress site, it’s essential to ensure the WP REST API is accessible and not inadvertently blocked by security measures, such as those implemented by PatchStack. The WP REST API is crucial for our bots operations as it allows interaction with your site’s backend for testing and data retrieval.

  1. Log in to your PatchStack account.
  2. Navigate to the Site Dashboard for the relevant site.
  3. Go the Hardening Tab
  4. Toggle off the ‘Restrict WP REST API access to authenticated users only‘ setting
  5. Click Save Settings
