CheckView allows you to pause websites and individual test flows at any time, providing flexibility in managing your test runs. This feature is especially useful when a website or test flow is experiencing known issues, or when testing is not currently necessary. Pausing helps conserve your test runs and maintain efficiency.
Why Pause Websites or Test Flows?
When to Pause a Test Flow
The test flow is failing due to known issues (e.g., a plugin update or temporary server outage).
The workflow being tested is no longer active or relevant for the time being.
Adjustments or fixes are being made to the website that would cause the test to fail.
When to Pause a Website
The entire website doesnβt require testing (e.g., staging or development sites not in use).
The website has known issues that will render tests unnecessary or inaccurate (e.g., planned maintenance or migration).
To temporarily conserve test runs for non-critical sites.
Key Points About Pausing
Preservation of Data:
No test flows or associated tests will be lost when pausing a website or test flow.
Test flows will resume in their previous state (paused or active) when a website is unpaused.
Impact of Pausing a Website:
Pausing a website automatically pauses all test flows associated with that site.
Unpausing a website restores all test flows to their previous states.
