As the leaves fall this season, we’re excited to share some major updates we’ve rolled out to make your automated testing even easier, more flexible, and more powerful.

Monthly Testing Cadence

We’ve heard your feedback, not every site may need daily or weekly testing. CheckView now lets you schedule automated tests to run monthly, giving you greater control over how and when your tests are executed.

• Flexible scheduling: Choose daily, weekly, or monthly to match your update cycle.
• Smarter resource use: Ideal for rarely updated or non-critical sites.
• Same reliability: Receive the same detailed reports and alerts on your chosen schedule.

Testing for Non-WordPress Sites

While WordPress testing remains our core, we recognize that many sites run on other platforms. That’s why CheckView now supports automated testing for any website or web application, from landing pages to SaaS platforms.

• Familiar workflow: The same step editor you already know works across all site types now.
• No plugin required: Run tests without needing to install the CheckView WordPress plugin for non-WordPress sites.
• Beta release: Test steps aren’t generated automatically yet for non-WordPress sites and compatibility may vary, but this is just the beginning.

Redesigned Test Flow Builder UI

We’ve given our test flow builder a major upgrade to improve clarity and speed when creating test flows. Creating tests is now faster, more intuitive, and less error-prone.

• Step-by-step guidance: A cleaner layout with improved tooltips makes each action easier to follow.
• Streamlined interface: A faster, more efficient UI reduces clicks and speeds up test creation.
• Refined language: Clearer labels and instructions help you get testing quicker with less guesswork.

Mobile Testing Option

Your customers aren’t all on desktops and now your tests don’t have to be either. The new mobile option ensures your forms and checkouts work just as well on phones as they do on laptops.

• Built-in controls: Choose mobile or desktop views directly within the test builder interface.
• Stronger UX confidence: Identify display issues before they impact your users.

Annual Plans and More Ways to Pay

We’ve expanded billing options to give you more flexibility and savings. Managing your subscription is now smoother than ever.

• 2 months free: Switch to an annual plan and save compared to monthly.
• Modern payments: Pay with Stripe Link and Google Pay.
• Better receipts: Email invoices now include PDF attachments.
• VAT support: Full VAT handling at checkout and in billing management.

Tweaks and Improvements

Not everything is flashy, but these tweaks make CheckView faster and more reliable. Expect a snappier, more polished experience as you run tests.

• The step editor sidebar is now fixed to make it easier to insert variables while building or editing tests.
• “Assert form submitted” renamed to “Verify Submission Data” for clearer meaning.
• UI performance boost and a variety of bug fixes across the app.
