Installing and Updating the CheckView Helper Plugin

The CheckView helper plugin connects your WordPress site to CheckView. It lets CheckView detect your forms and WooCommerce checkout, run tests safely, and verify submissions. Installing it is the first step when you add a WordPress site to CheckView.

Installing the plugin

  1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New and search for “CheckView”.
  2. Install and activate the CheckView plugin.
  3. Return to the CheckView dashboard to connect your site and start creating tests.

You can also download it from the WordPress.org plugin directory and upload it manually if you prefer.

Keeping the plugin updated

The helper plugin updates through WordPress like any other plugin. We recommend enabling automatic updates so you always have the latest version. Newer releases include the most up to date form, spam protection, and checkout handling, which keeps your test results accurate. The current version is 2.1.0.

Compatibility

  • WordPress 7.0
  • PHP 7.4 or newer
  • Works with WooCommerce and the major form plugins, including Contact Form 7, Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms, Ninja Forms, WPForms, WS Form, and Formidable.
