Fall 2026 Platform Updates

In August, we noted two new features were coming soon: automated testing support for Forminator forms and an option to send test emails to your form’s real recipients. I am excited to announce both are now live and ready for you.

We’ve also made test results more accurate, made it easier to build tests from AI assistants such as Claude Code and Cursor, and tightened overall platform security. Here’s what’s new in CheckView.

Forminator Form Testing Is Live

A Forminator multi-step form tested automatically: test steps built, CAPTCHAs handled, multi-page and conditional logic, submission stored, email delivered

CheckView now detects your Forminator forms, finds the pages they appear on, and builds the test steps for you with no manual setup. Forminator receives the same treatment as our other supported form plugins, including automatic test flow creation with most forms, bypassing CAPTCHAs, conditional logic, multi-page forms, submission and email validation and more. Combined with the disable form integrations feature, add-ons such as Mailchimp and webhooks are skipped for test submissions as well.

Forminator support needs the CheckView helper plugin 2.4.0 or newer, and 2.4.2 or newer to check multi-part fields such as name and address part by part and to skip add-ons. For a full walkthrough, see how to automatically test Forminator forms.

Optionally Send Test Emails to Real Recipients

The Deliver Test Emails to Form Recipients setting in CheckView

By default, CheckView sends the notification emails your form triggers during a test to its own test inbox, so your real recipients never see them. A new optional setting, Deliver Test Emails to Form Recipients, sends them to your form’s real recipients as well. CheckView still receives its copy, so email checks in your tests keep working.

For agencies, it’s a simple way to show a client that their forms are tested on a schedule and that the emails really arrive.

The setting is off by default since real people receive an email from every test run with this enabled, so a flow scheduled hourly sends about 24 emails a day.

Build Tests Faster with Your AI Assistant

Claude, Cursor and Windsurf connect to CheckView through MCP to create a form test that checks the submission is stored and the email arrives

The CheckView MCP server lets you work with CheckView from AI assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor and Windsurf. It can now create native WooCommerce checkout tests with order checks and form tests that can confirm the submission was stored and the email arrived.

Before it creates a test, the assistant walks you through a short checklist and recommends turning those checks on. Tests created this way also close popups automatically. To connect it, an organization admin creates an API token under Settings → API Tokens. If you’ve already installed our MCP in your agent, don’t forget to update it to access the latest improvements and updates.

More Accurate Test Results

A test is only worth running if you can trust the result, so we spent much of this release on accuracy.

Gravity Forms 3.0 phone and date pickers, WooCommerce stores that skip the cart page, and sites whose page cache interferes with the CheckView plugin now test correctly.

Fluent Forms tests no longer trip Fluent’s own limit on rapid submissions, Contact Form 7 tests now wait until the notification email has been sent, and Gravity Forms sites running Zero Spam no longer return errors during tests. Email checks also pass when a message is sent to several addresses.

Reliability and Platform Improvements

  • Clearer error messages: when a firewall or bot protection is blocking CheckView or a site can’t return its list of forms, the dashboard now tells you what’s wrong instead of reporting the site as unreachable or showing no forms.
  • More popups are closed automatically, including Cloudflare Zaraz consent banners and Podium chat widgets.
  • A new Reduce Motion option helps on sites with heavy animations.
  • A website added as non-WordPress can now be converted to WordPress from its settings.

Try the Latest CheckView Updates

Forminator form testing, the option to send test emails to real recipients, more accurate test results and the MCP improvements are all available now. Several of them rely on the latest CheckView WordPress plugin so make sure your sites are running version 2.5.1 or newer.
